1. What type of card is Wasabi Card?

Wasabi Card is a U.S.-issued MasterCard / Visa debit card product launched for Web3 users.

Currently supporting virtual cards and providing physical card options, it is suitable for online subscriptions, ad placement, and global offline consumption.

Wasabi Card can be used to link WeChat, Alipay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other mainstream payment tools, and offers three card types tailored to different usage needs.

3. What is the fee structure of Wasabi Card?

Manage funds using USDT in Wasabi Card:

  • Stablecoin exchange to USD

    • USDT → USD charges a 1.5% conversion fee

  • Card fund operations

    • Top-up to card: charges a 1% transaction fee

    • Card withdrawal: charges a 0% transaction fee

Transaction-related fees

  • Currency exchange fee (incurred during non-USD transactions, minimum 0.01 USD).

    • Specific proportions vary slightly depending on card type and merchant location

  • Apple Pay / Google Pay

    • Some cards may incur additional processing fees when using express payment

  • Failure penalty

    • Some cards will have a 0.5 USD / transaction penalty for failure

⚠️ Usage Tips

Please avoid using up all balance exactly at the time of payment; a certain margin needs to be reserved to cover potential fees or exchange rate fluctuations.


4. How is the exchange rate of Wasabi Card calculated?

Wasabi Card adopts a settlement method close to the real-time international bank exchange rate, keeping highly consistent with the exchange rates displayed on mainstream search engines.

  • Extremely small payment amounts may trigger minimum exchange fees.

  • Non-USD merchant transactions will involve automatic currency exchange.

5. Is KYC required to use Wasabi Card?

Yes. Users must complete identity verification (KYC) before applying for a Wasabi Card to ensure account security and comply with regulatory requirements.

  • Please be sure to submit real and valid identity information

  • False or incomplete information may lead to account restrictions

  • Wasabi Card itself does not set a consumption limit, but third-party payment platforms may have daily / annual limits


6. Card Risks and Precautions

  • Wasabi Card is a debit card and does not support overdrafts

  • Please avoid frequent occurrences of:

    • Payment failures

    • Active refunds

    • Transaction cancellations

⚠️ If the proportion of abnormal transactions is too high, the card may be temporarily frozen.

To prevent abuse, active refund behaviors may incur a certain percentage of processing fees.

  • Wasabi Card does not support fiat currency top-ups

  • Only supports using TRC20-USDT / BEP20-USDT for fund management and payment.

1. Does Wasabi Card have a mobile App?

Currently, Wasabi Card does not provide a native App, but supports being added to the mobile home screen via PWA, offering an experience close to a native application.


2. Account Risk Control and Linking Failure

  • Please ensure that the real-name information of the payment tool is consistent with the Wasabi Card KYC information

  • If locked, please follow the official WeChat / Alipay process to unlock

Linking Failure

  • Check whether the name format is correct

  • Card number, expiration date, and CVV are filled in correctly

  • Whether the IP address is supported

If prompted "International bank cards are not supported for adding", it is usually caused by the risk control of the payment tool itself.


3. Regarding AI Tools and Subscription Merchant Payments

Wasabi Card can be used to pay for X Premium, ChatGPT, Claude, AI SaaS tools, and other services.

AI and social platforms usually have complex risk control systems, involving multiple factors such as accounts, IPs, and regions. Any payment tool has a failure probability, and Wasabi Card cannot guarantee 100% success.


4. Top-up and Refund Instructions

Top-up Arrival Time

  • Automatically arrives after blockchain confirmation

  • Typically completed within 5-10 minutes

  • Please be sure to use the correct network and deposit USDT

Refund Arrival Time

  • Merchant refunds usually take 5–21 business days

  • Refunds generated after payment failures also follow the same cycle

  • Once completed, it will be displayed in the account balance

One Wasabi account can apply for multiple cards to meet different usage needs.


Billing Address

The card billing address cannot be modified; other available addresses can be filled in during payment.


Withdrawal Rules

  • Charges a 5% platform fee (including gas fee)

  • Small-amount withdrawals arrive in 1-3 business days

  • Large-amount withdrawals may require system processing time


Card Activation

  • Activate according to the email activation code

  • Physical cards may require additional review and shipping time
